My name is Rose Nacincik. We are living in B.T. for over 47 years. I have always been supportive of our department and was proud that my husband Steve joined in the 1980's. I was very excited to have been elected Commissioner of the BTFD. I served almost 15 years but had to resign due to illness. It was there that I saw how dedicated our men are. It is so important for our safety that we have a well trained department to help us in case of a fire but also for any medical problems that can arise.
I hope more residents would join our department not only for individual safety but our town's safety. My husband and I both needed our Dept. for medical illness and felt a large relief when they entered our home to help us.
